It’s not summer if you haven’t eaten a snow cone. Rocky Mountain Snowflake did not disappoint. Taste of Fort Collins.

This was a really busy, but awesome day! We started the day out going to the annual Taste of Fort Collins event. There wasn’t as much food as I expected, but I found an awesome taco truck. Ries got barbecue, and we also got snow cones we ate while Gus played on the park playground.

After that we drove up to Horsetooth Reservoir for the first time. We had seen a lot of photos, but it was still breathtaking. We wanted to do a little hiking, but the trails around the reservoir were too narrow and rugged to accommodate our jogger cycle.

We drove back down to Old Town and got ice cream from Churn for the first time—I think Ries got “All Nighter” and I got “Blackberry Honey Goat Cheese.”
