Ten Things I've Learned Since College

As some of you know, I have been dabbling with digital illustration and my handwriting. When we set out to do a “How to Adult” theme for the month of March, I had an idea in the back of my mind for something I wanted to create that would serve as a combination of a graphic and a post, and I'm really excited to share something I made on this website for the first time.

Ten Things I’ve Learned Since College

(In case you can’t read my handwriting.)

  • If you fuck up and apologize, you can make things right. If they fuck up and you apologize, they will burn down your house.

  • I self-sabotage my image because being heavier feels safer.

  • You have time and money. It just isn’t a priority.

  • I want girlfriends, but being friends with women is hard for me. I love them too much and have (maybe too) high (of) standards for their significant others.

  • People will disappoint you. But do your best not to disappoint them.

  • It is never too late.

  • Emotions are not laws. Thoughts are not facts.

  • Sometimes you aren’t the favorite.

  • I don’t like doing things that come easily to others.

  • I am a smart and beautiful and multitalented human and I have a lot to give, and the people who don’t see that aren’t worth my thoughts, tears, time, or love.

Like I said, this is my first time making something like this, so let me know if you want to see more like this post.
