Ten Things I've Learned Since College
As some of you know, I have been dabbling with digital illustration and my handwriting. When we set out to do a “How to Adult” theme for the month of March, I had an idea in the back of my mind for something I wanted to create that would serve as a combination of a graphic and a post, and I'm really excited to share something I made on this website for the first time.
Ten Things I’ve Learned Since College
(In case you can’t read my handwriting.)
If you fuck up and apologize, you can make things right. If they fuck up and you apologize, they will burn down your house.
I self-sabotage my image because being heavier feels safer.
You have time and money. It just isn’t a priority.
I want girlfriends, but being friends with women is hard for me. I love them too much and have (maybe too) high (of) standards for their significant others.
People will disappoint you. But do your best not to disappoint them.
It is never too late.
Emotions are not laws. Thoughts are not facts.
Sometimes you aren’t the favorite.
I don’t like doing things that come easily to others.
I am a smart and beautiful and multitalented human and I have a lot to give, and the people who don’t see that aren’t worth my thoughts, tears, time, or love.
Like I said, this is my first time making something like this, so let me know if you want to see more like this post.
