We’re on the ‘gram.

Ran my second 5K in four months, carrying this small pumpkin, and still cut my race time. 🎃 This is my fifth consecutive months running, and I am killing it for my pace time, but I'm experiencing tendonitis in my Achilles and don't want to that to turn into an injury, so I'll probably take a break from running for a bit (at least over two miles for now) until I can lose weight and increase my leg strength. So this was probably my last race for the year, but at least it was a fun one.
On a date with smol boi so our first stop was of course, bubble tea.

Sorry we were late. Gus had to take out the trash. And count the steps. And look for "munnies" and "chipmks" (translation: bunnies and chipmunks.) #agmurphy
Gus did his first puzzle yesterday. We found it at an estate sale for $4 and I was planning to scan the design in and update it for a print, but I think we'll keep the puzzle. I just felt so good when I was putting it together yesterday. Simpler times, maybe. I have no idea when it was made and I can't find anything like it online, but this is the beginning of our vintage Mickey collection. 😂

I don't think it's haunted, but Four Arches is pretty spooky. I'm pretty sure this photo is from 2010 when I dragged @cjbiggs here. People in their twenties do weird things for fun when they live in a state-wide cornfield.
Edna Collins Bridge--Putnam County, Indiana. According to local myth, when her parents drove to town, Edna would play in the creek below this bridge. When her parents were done in town, they would pull up on the bridge, honk three times, and Edna would come up. One day she didn't, and her parents found her drowned. It's also rumored that her mother was so distressed by Edna's death, she hanged herself under the bridge. If you're brave, you're supposed to drive up on the bridge, turn off your car, and honk three times, and Edna is rumored to come to your car. I haven't done it myself, but have heard worse things come to the car. 👻👻👻
